Having driven two wheeler for more then 30 years starting with Suvega, Explorer, Chetak, KB125, HH Dawn & Pulsar 180 finally I have become old and post operation patient. As I could not handle Pulsar any more wanted a bike something like HH Street or Yamaha Jupiter. Street is out of streets and Jupiter is yet get detached from milky way and land in our planet which only Yamaha knows when.
So decided to settle for an automatic scooter obviously a Honda. But why Activa I because its less priced, light in weight, non corrosive plastic bodied & cute looking.
Went to JSP Honda, Anna Nagar, with all hopes. Without even a test drive given Rs.15000
as cash advance.
I have requested only two things:
1.MRF tyres.
2.Without extra fittings.
They were not ready to give scooter without fittings because they make more money in fitting than what Honda is offering them as sales commission.
Daily making phone calls and asking for delivery I got reply that scooter with MRF tyres has not arrived wait wait wait.
Waited for three days finally got frustrated checked Honda site and located a good dealer Didar Honda phoned up to them.
I asked 3 questions:
1.Scooter with MRF tyres.
2.Without extra fittings.
3.Immediate delivery.
Answer was YES YES YES.
Got excited and ran to them with full cash in hand and booked got delivered next day with registration number.
Story continues! I have to visit, beg, fight with JSP Honda for 3 days on daily basis for my refund. Finally on forth day got back Rs.14800. Rs 200 they have deducted as penalty for doing the mistake of booking a scooter with them.
Advantage of buying the scooter from Didar Honda:
Prompt service+ Rs 1000 less then the cost of JSP Honda.
