Hi we brought activa on aug 2008. despite me forcing my bro to try for access or aviator but he stuck with the brand name of activa, simply that shows how he was interested in activa.
The main reason why we brought this vehicle is for a upgrade version of scooter as we are using chetak for 16 years.& for better mileage.**(but its giving less mileage when compared to our chetak(40kmpl).
We have travelled 520km so far.
Likes & Dislikes:
- Looks r good but bored of seeing the same old activa for years.
2. Intially the 1st litre petrol gave only 27km but after 200 km it gave 32 like that but now at 520 km its giving 38kmpl.(wait & see how much does it give after 1st servicing).
Could any one tell a good Fortune honda showroom in Hyderabad & Secunderabad.?
Another worst thing about ACTIVA is starting problem . Intially for 1st 15 days we started it with choke on that too with kick start but now electric start works fine( how it is working I really don’t know?).
It will take some energy to put Center stand of ACTIVA, I don’t know how ladies would manage?
Under seat storage need to be more . *(I can’t put my STUDDS helmet in it).
6. I really hate HONDA for not giving simple accessories like:Side Stand, Saree step, Seat cover.
Driving Experiences:
The 1st time when I drove activa in 2003, it was good but now its k.
There is no comfort for me when driving activa because of my height(6’).& if I go for long distance say 40km i’m getting backpain.& an elbow pain if there is a pillion rider.
If I leave the handle it turns towards left.no balancing at all like chetak.
Pickup is not that great.
*Who should buy this vehicle? Who shouldn’t?
People with height below 5.7’ should buy this vehicle & it best suits for ladies. & people who are taller shouldn’t & never buy this vehicle .it’ll give you serious health problems in the long run.
*SOME TIPS:
Make sure about the tyre pressure when driving alone(22 for front & 28 for back tyre) or with pillion rider(22 for front & 36 for back).
Never fill the tank full or wait till the tank is empty instead refuel 4l each time you go to petrol station it also gives you more mileage.
Drive in Economy mode till 1st servicing after that don’t exceed 60 for better mileage.
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST *. FOLLOW THE RULES.WEAR HELMET. DRIVE SAFE.
