I had bought the Honda Activa 2 years back. I was quite happy with it initially. I stay at Pune. I have made trips to Mahabaleshwar and Lonavla on my Activa. Then, I bought a car and I started using the Activa on alternate days.
If I don’t use the vehicle for 2 days, then the vehicle doesn’t start normally. I have to kick it at least 20 times before it makes the roar. The battery drains as I repeatedly try to start it with the Button-starter. And then I keep kicking till I get frustrated and go to office in the car. It was a record last week when I actually started counting the kicks I made - 90 kicks and it didn’t start.
Another problem I faced was that one of the screw of the speedo-meter panel got loose and it dropped from the moving vehicle. now I am facing too much of rattling sounds becuase of that. I went to the Honda - service station and they told me that this screw is not available right now. And they can order it for me. They still haven’t got it. Nobody’s got it.
NOW, whenever I want to go on the Honda Activa I have to build some stamina first, because I’m sure I have to kick it N number of times.
Pathetic. - Didn’t expect this from Honda.
