I bought Honda 3G Bike last September from Shoolini Honda based in Solan(Hp). Since then I had two services and I am pretty happy with the functionality of this Honda machine. I could have gone for a bike but my parents for some reason decided against it. Somehow they believed that I look disciplined on a scooter instead of a bike.
Though I don’t regret it because the modern scooters do look cool and it is no more associated with women only since this bike is for all genders across young and old people. The other reason I went for a two wheeler because I stay in a hilly area and it ain’t that easy to walk up and down the slopes of market carrying stuff bought from grocery shops. It gives you an access in the crowded market where it is impossible for a car to go through.
It has been a smoother ride since then though I use it only for some home errands. There are a number of options in scooter now a days but Honda Activa 3G was my first choice since the service center is pretty near to my home and I have lot of friends who have been their customers. There are three versions of Activa, Activa I which is the older version, Activa 3G 110 cc and Activa 125 cc are the new ones.
I chose Activa 110 cc because it has more mileage plus it is less heavy compared to 125 cc. I don’t drive everyday for too long and it has fit well in my needs. The maximum I have to drive is 3 kms straight and that is why I don’t agree to the issues regarding back pain driving this bike. You need to choose a bike based on your needs and have to go in detail specifications of each bike. The Honda Activa 3G 110 cc has a max power of 8 bhp @ 7500 rpm and peak torque of 8.74 Nm @ 5500 rpm. It also have an option to chose from five amazing colors in this model though I went for the shining black one. It has a 5.3 liter fuel tank capacity which is enough for me. I paid around Rs 56000 in total for this modern two wheeler along with few accessories. I would recommend this scooter because it is one of the most sold models among Honda and across other brands of scooters and has a cult like following.
