This is regarding a Honda 2 wheeler Vendor in Sec- 14 by the name of GANPATI AUTO
I have a Honda Activa, I gave it for service on 7th Oct 2010 @ 9:30 am, I got the time for delivery as 6:30 p.m.problem in the scooter: self start not working and need to check the battery(whether to replace or not)
When in the evening I came to get the scooter, I found it still standing in the area I had left in the morning, on questioning the concerned person, he made an apologetic statement and said hell get it done in an hours time, but the battery would be delivered a day later, hence I left in order to return again the following day to collect the battery as well as the scooter.
Day 2:The next day I called before going to the service station and got the confirmation that it has been done, only to find that there service lifts to get the scooters to the ground level had failed, I left for the day once again only to return the following day after confirming.
Day 3: When I reached the service station, I found out that I still had to get the battery fixed, on asking them to do the great mechanic told me finally that the battery was dead and I had to replace it.(This was my initial question to them, should I replace it or not, to which they answered only once I got the scooter after 3 working days)*
*On asking why they hadnt conveyed the same to me earlier when I had asked them, I got all sorts of different answers
End Result:Even after 3 days I still have to go again and get a new battery from a vendor (as the Honda people dont even have batteries in their stocks)*
*Their customer service is pathetic, absolutely not acceptable and disgustingTheir quality of work on the scooters is also not good: as after the service the scooter has so many marks on it that you got to spend a lot of time getting rid of them.
