Hi Friends, This is my 1st review on the mouthshut. I have booked honda activa for my wife yesterday. I have read in many posts that one has to wait for months to get honda activa. but I didn’t faced any problem in getting the honda activa in delhi. it available in stock.
Yes there can be delay of week or so in case you want particulat colour. like I wanted to take silver colored Delux model which for that I have to wait for 2 days. also for grey color one has to wait for 3 days. rest other was available in stock. also I found dealer to be supportive. I also went to suzuki access showroom but the showroom guys were horrible. I liked the suzuki access over honda activa but I booked honda just because suzuki showroom guys they are not attending the customers wven though there is no rush. if this is before sales service then what will happen after purchasing the suzuki.

so finally I got my HONDA Activa Delux Silver Colored delivered on September 27th. Intially Dealer put some arbit condition in front of me that he can give me Honda Activa only if he sells 20-25 Honda bikes on that day. Since I already made the payment so he was forced to give me delivery. after delivery I found that he added extra accessories which I didn’t asked and he didn’t put the accessory that I asked. when I asked him he replaced the accessories and in this accessories change he ended up giving me extra accessories :) So I got seat cover and front medguard for free from the dealer.
me and my wife used it for almost 1 week. bike is showing 208 KM.
I am getting almost mileage of 43KM/l and I am expecting it to improve after 1st service. so may be i’ll get 47-48km/l
that way i’ll say that this bike is gving very good mileage in the city like delhi and it’s very economical. for me it’s cheaper then the BUS. overall breaking system is quite relible as compare to other two wheelers in the market. since it has a combi break system so it’s safer too. as a pillion passenger I found seat to be bit uncomfertable which I guess will be resolved once i’ll purchase some very good quality seatcover from open market. otherwise while drving bike is good. as of now me and my wife liking the bike. at night time headlight is not very powerful. Honda needs to improve the power and focus of the headlight.
starting Honda activa using kick is bit uncomfertable because of position of kick. otherwise bike starts easily with the self start.
i’ll write more reviews once i’ll use this bike more and more
