I bought an aviator last week and it is just awesome to ride in traffic. I work 14 kms from my home so I ride about 30kms per day. It is so relaxing to ride it. I use to ride a motorcycle. In stop and go traffic, the bike with its gears was a lot of work to ride. In the scooter, it is just awesome and relaxing to ride. The engine is butter smooth, the pick up is awesome, the stability is awesome, the comfort is awesome, the mileage is awesome, In the morning when there is less traffic, I ride it at a constant 40 and it is smooth. In the evening, when there is stop and go traffic, I ride the aviator pretty aggressively. I can find gaps in traffic and take those gaps really easily. Honda has made an awesome product. The scooters stability is also excellent when compared to the bikes with larger wheels. It is so light, that I can sprint in traffic. I wonder why men that commute for distances choose a bike over this aviator ?
People should seriously consider buying this scooter rather than a bike. I can start easily in the morning with some choke. It looks great. It pulls great on hills and flyovers. The engine is pretty torquey. The only down side is the lack of accessories like a top box that I can fix on my avaitor or a wind screen.
My friends have a bullet and a pulsar and they want to go for long rides. I will be taking my avaitor after sometime. I will soon let u know how the aviator performed over long distances and up the ghat routes. Until then, buy the aviator.
