I am having a Honda aviator which is really a wonderful bike to ride, with no complaints on performance. And at same time, I had terrific experience in key replacement.
I ’ve lost the key and needs to be replaced. When contacted dealer brushed-off saying that key lock set was not available and I need to wait for almost a month. I was made to run from pillar to post. Also renowned automobile spare part dealers too confirmed that getting genuine HONDA key lock set is such a terrific task.
Based on the volume of bike sales in Chennai, Honda should have such spares intact to keep the customers. Finally my dealer has assured me that he will arrange for a key set available locally. Also he has taken almost 2 days and still it was not done. Based out my experience, I will never recommend Honda bikes to my friends due to this spare availability complaint.
