I own aviator from May 2009 and doing good till date. After lot of deliberation I went for aviator a year back, I had actually planned to buy an Activa but opted for Aviator as there was a long waiting period for Activa vis-a-vis Aviator. so it was more of on the fly decision than a personal choice as I was dire need of a two wheeler. Now after a year riding my Aviator for more than 7000 km I am quite satisfied though I wont say I am delighted customer.
Honda Aviator runs on the same engine as the Activa, differs only in it looks. After riding this one and Activa I wonder why people go for an Activa, may be it is compatible with ladies and aviator cud be bit oversized.
What I like about my Aviator.
1, it has amazing pick up and cruises effortlessly to 60km/hr
2 the bigger wheel on the front gives amazing handling, Aviator beats activa here
3 Good and broad seats which make riding comfortable.
4 Headlamps are bright and give a good night vision
5 At speeds of 60 to 70 it has good handling but not above 70
6 This scoorette has good suspension in the front and back vis-a-vis others in its class
7 Lots of space, it can carry lot of things needy for a family
What I don’t like about it. Bad fuel efficiency. It hardly clocks 40/litre even on a highway. You have to pull the choke everyday but it instantly starts. I drive daily 45km on my Aviator and it has never let me down. it is an amazing vehicle to ride, I recommend it if you are not finicky about the fuel efficiency.
