I bought my Honda Brio SMT(petrol) special edition about couple of weeks ago. Special edition comes with company fitted spoiler, alloys and stickers on front 2 door which read sports on it. Brio is best in class hatchback with a price tag of 4-5 lacs.
I have done 500 kms so far and the mileage varies between 15-17, not bad for a new car and would surely go up after next couple of servicing. The car looks small from outside but its is very spacious from inside. The interior is very pretty with a user friendly music system which unfortunately does not come with a CD Player, so you have to upload music in your USBs or phones every time you want to listen to new songs. Brios AC is super cool with spinning AC flaps.
Brios engine is very small and collapsible in case u collide head on. Brios engine is very silent and powerful with 1200 cc and 86 bhp.Brios Controlling is bit of concern if u r a rash driver because the car is light weight with a power packed engine so anti lock braking system is highly desirable.
I did hell of research before buying a car in this range and zeroed in on Brio. If you look at other car within this range like wagon R, A star, Santro, I10 etc they all lack styling and space. Power steering is similar to civic with audio control. Brio does not offer adjustable steering and height adjustable driver seat. Overall the car is awesome and a must buy if you fancy one.
