After my one month+ search I found Honda Brio SMT, a best car in this segment under 5.5 L with fully loaded(Except Airbag & ABS)
Previously I was looking for a Swift. But the waiting period and the false commitments by Maruti dealer made me to look after other options
Figo - was the immediate choice for its rigidity; but the rattle & Jet like sound in the cabin and the swiped positions of wiper & light switch made me very uncomfortable on using indicators.
i10 - Fake promises by the sales guy.somehow I did not convince with the offers he had thrown.
Polo - More than my budget
Micra - I donno but it was very uncomfortable on my test drive. Their way of talking to customer was also worse.
So, Finally I test drove a Brio. I fell in love with this car on my first test drive.
I have purchased Honda Brio S MT, Feb-2013 from Sundaram Honda, Madurai. My experience with the dealer was excellent - their follow-up, treating the customer and not to forget, the memorable Car delivery ceremony. I did not have to wait like people do for Swift, Ritz & Dzire. I chose my car among the ten odd vehicles on their display & yard.
Coming back to the vehicle, it has been buttery smooth since the first drive, till today I have made 1200 Kms. Had under chase painted. Don’t know if I should go for 3M polishing & Sun film(they quoted 5K for sunfilm) Since the AC is another wonder in this segment I opted out Sunfilm.
The power of the engine(1198 cc) is amazing. You’ll feel the pleasure on road.
It is giving me an average of 17 kmpl(not bad) with A/C. I never switched off A/C.
I suggest, in stead of waiting long for Swift one can go for readily avaible Brio - wide range to select.
