I’m sharing with you guys is my experience about the Honda made bike CB Shine. I got my bike in October 2013 and that’s why I’m here to write this review.
I reviewed so many bike models of different bike manufacturers before owning this motorcycle. It has so many plus points those need to be share with the others. First of all, it has better build quality then the other manufacturers. When you ride it, it gives you very smooth and comfortable ride even if you’re hitting the off-road. Oh yeah! that everyone knows its not an off-road bike its an city bike, but sometime we all faces challenges. It does not give you body noise(specially cause by loosen light parts etc.)
Personally I learned biking with this bike, so many time I dropped it, jumped it through the speed breakers, did off-road riding etc. But till after hitting several years giving me thing that I want from it. A very noise free and comfortable ride all the time.
That’s all about the build quality of bike, now let’s turn toward the heart of every bike. Its engine. That’s all we know Honda always known for its smooth and silence engine production in all over the world. It add a plus point to this bike. It has 125cc smooth motor which gives you a very powerful pickup.
I’ve many friends always complaint about their bikes, they become noisy and have vibrations; which cause fatigue during the long ride. But I want thanks to Honda for making such a great motor for my bike.
CB Shine has very right position of seats not much higher and not much lower that gives you correct body posture and comfort. It helps you to travel longer journey without any tiredness and fatigue. Because it feels resting during the ride and you feel almost fresh when reach to your destinations.
Now at the end and final thing: Mileage
Honda says its all Scooters and Motorcycles(not including super and sports bikes) gives you 65 Kmpl mileage. I feels its not wrong yes they can. But mileage depends on the road and riding conditions. If you stop your bike again and again on a short distance you will never achieve that, because your are just burning the fuel. If you want to achieve good mileage with your vehicle you must be keep in your mind that, you have to run the vehicle in economy that company recommends and stop or avoid unnecessary using clutch and breaks, also choose better roads and keep your vehicle service on time.
Some time I ride my bike 70-80 km/h and I feels like sport bike, which it’s not. Please note it whenever you go over speed you loose mileage. I noted it gives me around 50-55 kmpl in this situation.
My Honda CB Shine gives me around 60 to 63 Kmpl and still have no issues with bike frame, body parts and engine is also very smooth functioning. I have extended warranty for any emergency cases with the engine, but Haven’t claimed it once.
I love my bike.
Honda added HET(Honda Eco Technology) to its new products, which is some engine refinements to gives you better performance, stability and mileage. I miss this technology because I had my bike in 2013 and Honda announce this later on.
