My priority was commuter bike with little style as well. But mileage and cost was also a concern for me, as people chant Hondas name for their good engine and goodwill. This how it went after buying it.
I posted a great review as I was happy to get good mileage, and even the review got review of the day. But soon things started to change, as 6 months past.
First service -500 rupees.
second service - 700.
third service - 1400
fourth service- 3000
Most of the times maintenance is not done properly, and I had to go more than once to get resolved, I have no clue whether they service inner parts like engine, as its not visible to naked eye.
So finally I stopped servicing it with them, as it was waste of money.

After 18 months a tragedy happened, and a tree feel down on my bike. It damaged my fuel tank I had to take it to Honda, estimate cost, 10, 000 rs, for a new tank. Thankfully claim was passed, and I after 1 month I was feed up, I started calling honda on daily basis to get it resolved, as I had to use rickshaw for all days, finally after escalating the issue several times, countless call and complains, it took 2 months to get it repaired, after the repair the engine feels strained and speedo meter have stopped working, I barely have energy to complain regarding this stuff.
Final verdict.- Honda is not the same company as before, the bike are of average quality, and Honda is taking advantage of their huge goodwill regarding their engine Quality. But on the other hand they are trying to earn as much as possible through their exclusive spare parts.
I mean how in the world is their fuel tank priced at 8500 MRP, with which gem stone is it made?
All in all I will stay away from Honda and will go with Bajaj as Sai service, their major dealer is awarded every year for their good service, yamaha has the great build quality and looks, and now with blue core technology they present some good amount of mileage, even suzuki is pushing hard with gixxer 150.
