I had been looking for a bike for daily commutation to office.I thought of going for Pulsar 150, but my father said, 150 cc is over powered to drag 70 kgs.Then I thought of going for pulsar 135cc .I felt it looks like duplicate pulsar.Pulsar was quite common bike everywhere.Then I started looking for a 100 CC bike with self start.I found twister and passion.Passion dint tempt me.Moreover its waiting time was 2 months.Then I thought of taking test ride of twister else to settle somehow with pulsar 135.Then I read reviews about twister, it was good, One day I visited Saphire honda JP ngr at 8PM just to check out Twister.
I liked the bike, mileage was 70kmpl.it was closing time.And the sales person asked me to book the bike then itself.I just booked the bike .And I got free compliments worth 400rs (scratch guard and engine guard ).Got my bike delivered the next day itself.
I bought yellow metallic color, since it was new color and quite noticeable in the crowd nd in the parking lots.Price of the pulsar135 was abt 64k, but twister that I bought cost me 55k(without disc break). Filled the tank in the beginning( abt 9 ltrs).And I rode it till 630 KM before my first service.So the mileage was about 70 kmpl.3 rd gear shift wasnt tht smooth. So after the first service, bike is very smooth.Pick up is good.And there was a mileage contest conducted by saphire honda. And mileage of my bike is 91 after second service.I travel abt 30km per day.I fill 5 litres of speed for 2 weeks, it goes upto 350-400kms.
So my monthly petrol charges comes upto (600rs).Its abt economy. Ride is very smooth.I like its sound.I ride below 70s, i had vibrations of the body before first service.I felt disc wasnt necessary for 110cc bike, atleast ride it slower for that shake.And rear wheel skids sometimes.
So I need to change my rear tire. And Sapphire honda is a good place to buy Twister. They give few free accessories and u ll get an alert for mileage contests.And very good service.
