Honda CB Unicorn is not a bad bike. It is okay in terms of its riding quality and looks. It offers a mileage of about 45-55 kmpl on various conditions. It is lighter than the heavier old Unicorn 150 so it will easy to handle as well. Honda’s engine refinement and reliability is also well known. But the issue is not with this bike, it is with its sales. Since honda relaunched unicorn 150, the sales of unicorn 160 has been dropping. Last month they sold only 26 units all across India. We can assume that Honda may discontinue this bike very soon.
A friend of mine was looking for a bike in the nearby Honda showroom and the showroom staff was keen to persuade him into buying a Unicorn 160, but he chose the 150. If Honda stops production of this bike, existing users may have problems finding the spare parts. So if you want to buy this bike think again and buy at your own risk.
