Pros:
Ride and handling.
Comfort. No back strain or wrist pain after long rides especially with pillion. More comfortable to pillion.
3.Fuel Economy: 48 to 52 kmpl .I drive always fast 80 kmph
- Engine running and pick up is smooth
5.After 1.5 years bike feels smooth and new. Good service centers even in villages.
Modifications Done:
1.Seat extra cushion, and one beautiful leather cover 1500 total, super comfort
2.Extra Horn for Looks and that super old car type sound .
3.Engine oil changed to Motul 10w30 5100 after 2500 kms now its much much better performance
4.Headlight bulb was changed to OSRAM silver star
Faults Occurred:
Neutral switch got to be replaced as a result of very small oil leakage . Reason for fail is a kid downshifted from gear 5 to neutral very fast while running
Cons:
1.Looks are not that good. Ok. But now 2018 Black looks good.
2.initially gear box clicking was not smooth but changing oil to above mentioned brand only solved the issue
3.Poor original headlight so done the above said modification
Maintenance: Engine needs a valve tuning / cleaning every 6 months or 6000 kms or as per requirement. Cost 350 to 400( includes overall general service)
after 3 years
Got confidence in engine, Gear box, now new hornet and some other big bikes coming in same engine . overall best bike for solo and family .
