Guys I have purchased my red devil Dazzler on January 30 2012 in Hyderabad. I donno ABC of riding bike before purchasing. I had to sit back in pillion seat while purchasing. I have taken test drive on CBZ Xtreme, SZR, FZ-S and Pulsar 180 (Of course sitting @ Pillion). Actually the first bike I tested was Dazzler. But pillion was not that comfortable so had to test other bikes as well. I almost went for CBZ Xtreme. But the weight factor and my frnds feedback about weird sounds some times forced me to drop CBZ. FZ-S also tempted me. But mileage and so many of them (frnds) having the same bike forced me to drop the idea. Pulsar having same design for 130, 150, 180, 220 really didnt inspired me.
I would have went for Unicorn CB only weight factor made me to choose kid of CB Unicorn. In the end I went back to Dazzler and purchased it as it is less weight, good handling, best milege in 150cc range. Believe me I had some 2, 3 rides of experience of scooter before this and my frnd helped me to understand bike controls and taught me for 2 kms.
Next day morning I myself rode it comfortably. I can tell you the bike HANDLING is very good. My bike have both front and rear disc brakes and never skid even thgh am beginner. it gives you full control. Don’t worry about the disc bakes at all. And my workplace is 25kms away frm home and ride almost 2hrs in the traffic daily in Hyderabad. Believe me I never had any back pains or shoulder pains except fingers which only coz of heavy use of clutch in the traffic(normal for all bikes).
Regarding Mileage, I was shocked and worried first time wen it gave me 20KMPL. But after that it improved a lot and by first service it gave me 50KMPL average. Now after first service it is giving me average around 56KMPL or more.
I didn’t reach much racing speeds myself. I maintained 45KMPH until 1000KM after my frnds suggesting me that will make bike more milege frndly. After 1000KMS I now ride my bike at average speed of 55KMPH. My Max speed with my bike is 80KMPH and didnt have vibrations. My frnds tested my bike for speed, wen it ready 110KMPH but vibrates from around 90-100KMPH. But believe me datz too dangerous speed you may never want that on any bike. Long Rides are very comfortable. Handling at high speeds is also very easy.
Pick Up better than many bikes. I observed in traffic it vrooms in very fast that other bikes. Only bike which crossed me usually is Pulsar wen the traffic light turns green.
Looks wise, front part is same as Twister which is really a bad thing considering some of them may not identify until they see the Dazzler label. But I suggest you guys should go for dual color which can avoid that. I missed that chance as my dealer told it may take a month for dual color and I was in very hurry. My only regret is missing dual color after waiting for that time.
Price wise I bought it for 76k On Road Price almost equal to CBZ Xtreme and more than Pulsar 150, FZ-S, SZR. If you have any doubts. You can post here or mail me.
