Four months back.. I was confused between Pulsar 135 and Stunner.After a very deep research I bought honda cbf stunner.There are total 11 changes in this stunner compared to the previous model. Half chain case..under cowl...RPM meter..black color engine..red color shockers..no kick (proper and pure) maintenance free battery...graphics...etc etc...
The problem with this bike is that, When I go above 40 in 4th gear it produces violent sound, it vibrate also and the sound sucks. There is no issue of ghaaaeeyyy ghaaaaeeyyy sound in unicorn n also CB twister..but its there in Honda Stunner. Also the wire that goes from disc brake to handle also hampers when you twist or move the bike in right hand direction..that means to handle this bike while taking turn is a bit dangerous(But it can be rectified if u ask during service).Seating position is not comfortable if u ride above 70 Kms in one stretch.However in my case like 50KMs it is comfortable...Pickup is neither bad nor good. I am not crazy for speed but this type of bike (heavy n sporty looks) should have a gud pickup but its not there in honda stunner, pick up is good in honda shine thats also of 125CC..It has delicate body especially the side cowl. I drive safe but I have to take care while parking this bike..service of honda is not satisfactory but better than bajaj.
I commute 50KMs daily, from my home to office and office to home(including sunday) i.e 1500KM / Month. And every saturday I spend RS200 on fuel i.e. Rs800-1000 / month. Which is good enough.
So, What I like in this bike is the "Average"..you guys won’t believe, before the first free service my bike was giving the average of "71" although, that time my MAX speed was 40KM/Hr. Now it is giving 50-52 on highways and as of now my average speed is 55Km/Hr. Sporty Look of this bike is the main reason I didn’t go for pulsar 135..After sunset or you can say in night it looks too too too good. Ofcourse engine is smooth coz the maker is HONDA but due to 125cc it is not as smooth as honda activa or Hero Honda Hunk. My total riding experience is abt 14YRS n I haven’t found any two wheeler as smooth as honda activa..ok leave this..Engine is quite smooth in 125cc segment.
Conclusion: Compared to any other bike in 125-135cc segment and In terms of average n looks it is an excellent bike. But the max speed, vibration, sound and pick up issue is the stain on stunner..
