My employers gave me HONDA CITY 1.5 Exi car out of my own choice in July 2004. I use it for city drive in Ahmedabad and it has done 2700 km till November 2004. I am glad that I chose this car because of the following reasons:
1 ? Very good riding comfort ? even on back seats,
2 ? Vary economical on Petrol in its class ? it has been giving me average of 10.5 km/lit in Ahmedabad city with A/c ON and once when I drove to Baroda on the Express Way it gave the average of 18 km/lit even though I touched 130 kmph and averaged at 105 kmph,
3 ? Emissions are much under permissible limits,
4 ? It has excellent road grip giving safety at high speed,
5 ? Driving in the crowded city with A/c ON is no discomfort as frequent gear changes are not required and I am able to drive between 20-50 kmph in 4th gear all the way,
6 ? Looks are great,
7 ? Luggage Boot is vary spacious unlike other cars of same class; perhaps the biggest,
8 ? Parking is vary easy because of small external size even though inner space is good enough,
9 ? Service provided by the Dealer is very good.
I have also driven cars of same class but of other makes including Maruti, Hyundai and GM, belonging to my colleagues. None of them gives so much comfort and none of them touches the fuel economy of my HONDA CITY 1.5 Exi. Now after seeing the performance of my car others too have decided to opt for HONDA CITY 1.5 Exi when their turn to change to new car comes next.
I am glad that I chose HONDA CITY 1.5 Exi. I have been told Cost of Spares is rather high but my feeling is that perhaps frequency of replacement too shall be low. However, only future will tell.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the HONDA CITY 1.5 Exi.
