I finally bought the New City and am happy to have made that decision. Shifting from a B segment to C, the choice appeared very tough.
We finally decided after a lot of analysis that Honda City New is the best for two reasons - Quality and Resaleability.
The vehicle has delivered what it promises... It is a real pleasure to drive it in the congested city of Hyderabad and its’ here ’’ the City’’ shows its class.. It has the right amount of pep for city driving, its interiors are very upclass, fuel efficiency is unmatchable.. All this at a decent price.
There are however some shortcomings i.e lack of ABS, Air Bags and Alloy Wheels...Well these may not be useful if you are truely looking at a City Car. I have driven the New City on a long tours too and found it extremely responsive even on full A/C.
All in All it is a cool car for any Indian city and packs a good deal for your money. I was told this car was released worldwide by Honda but noted some difference in the version released in India and other places. Nevertheless a great car and full return of investment.
