This will be my first review on any car.. !!! I brought this car on 30th oct 2012 from PRIDE HONDA , Hyderabad.
First I thought of buying Hundai Verna ( Petrol , Since my usage is nearly 600 KM per month) I took a test drive as well.. Bt wasn’t confident enough while driving. Again I shifted my mind to Honda Jazz.
Then I went to Pride Honda Showroom, Very Mannered staff with full knowledge about the product they are selling ( which you could hardly find such staff in showrooms ). One Salesperson Advised me to take a ride on Honda City also. Then first I have driven JAZZ ( its like a small big brother :) ) , then Honda City VMT... THATS THE POINT I HAVE SURRENDERED MY SELF TO THIS CUTE JAPANESE CAR!!! What a performance !!!! Engine sound was not even heard, Very comfortable interiors , Ground clearance was just good. After that again that salesperson suggested " Sir , Just try our VAT also and give your feed back sir "
Then I felt ok lets try since I havent tried AT so far.. Just for one try only one try... My All opinions changed while driving itself. Because the test drive car was nearly 48000 km driven car.. In that also I felt Wow... So I booked Honda City V AT ( Urban Titanium ) , And as they promised they delivered the car with in 1 week. Till now I have travelled 1178 KM , .. While Taking the car it self they made me very clear that AT gives you avg of 10 kmpl depending on your drive. I basically drive the car as per the RPM and shift accordingly. The same way I was driving this .. to my surprise I am getting avg milage of 11.2 kmpl in city conditions.
So for all new car buyers if your drive is only 600 - 800 km per monththen you can go with HONDA.
After 1 year or later you will def realize that you have made a wise investment !!! Trust me!!! :)
