New Honda City S AT

I took a test drive of Honda City 1.5 S AT – Amazing!. At 9.6 lacs on road with corporate discount in Delhi, there’s no other match for the Refinement, Performance, Style, Comfort, Safety and Technology. The car comes with 5 speed automatic transmission, which improves the fuel efficiency, you are sure to be pleased with the drive. Put in D mode and just forget it - you know how easy the drive becomes in a Delhi bumper to bumper traffic, when you don’t have to shift gears.

Engine runs smoothly without noise and vibration in relaxed mode, no outside noise! Moreover it has very light steering, excellent music system and huge cabin space of 506 liter! more than Toyota Corolla- you find yourself in dream world. If you like sporty gear shift, put in S mode and you can shift gears with paddle shift provided on steering wheel inspired from Honda F1 style. It’s fun, it’s exciting, it’s sporty. There’s no other car which is offering you all this in this range of ‘C’ class segment. People says it has no alloy wheels, how much they cost only Rs.10000.

For this you can bargain with a dealer. I really surprised Honda has not provided automatic climate control as it’s a standard in this range of other cars. Other cars in this rage are Aveo 1.4 Limited Edition, Fiat Linea, Hyundai Verna, Maruti SX4, Ford Fiesta. But if one has to choose Automatic transmission then choice is City or Verna. Verna has a diesel engine, which contribute to global warming and Honda always believes in clean fuel technology. It is compatible with E10 (10% ethanol). Fiesta is expensive to maintain. SX4 has poor quality. Fiat’s reputation in India is bad. However they have made collaboration with TATA group but it improves with time. Aveo is too no popular. So no choice is left!
