Honda City Maintenance

Read most of the reviews on this car. From what I’ve read:

Main advantage is the mileage and comfort and above all- there is the Honda badge which speaks of reliability. Ground clearance, however, seems to be a major hurdle.

Apart from that, any idea on the maintenance cost? Especially the spares. One of my friends who owned the old City VTEC used to complain on the price of spares. Even if that could be attributed to the parts being manufactured in Japan- but has the present scenario improved interms of cost? In a place like Bangalore, where the chances of getting hit from behind is a high possibility, shelling out 5-10k for replacing a tail light could prove expensive.

My impression on the NHC Exi after driving for about 300kms, as with so many others in this forum, was that the suspension could’ve been better. Since that issue seems to have been addressed in the ZX, is there a noticable difference in drive quality?

Any other tip to go for, or, keep away from, this car would be helpful for prospective buyers like me...
