I had purchased the civic in September 2006. I had compared it with corolla and skoda octavia petrol . civic seemed far advanced in features and comfort. and it turned out to be a verry good choice. civic is far better than innova, (in which lot of noise inside the car when you go above 100km/hr) with civic I had driven it upto 165 km/hr and it was very smooth drive.
If money isn’t an issue go for the high end model introduced recently. I had done all the extra fittings which come now with the high end model, its worth it(fog lamp, leather seats, rear spoiler) . I get around 12-13km/ltr in city and 14-15 km/ltr on the highway. the mp3 whitch comes is very good.we are a family of 3 and vacation a lot (all school holidays are spent traveling to someplace)and civic is in which we like to travel .i forgot to mention that I have a santro . but we drive civic more and santro is idle now.
