Ive had my 2003 Honda Civic Dx-G Sedan for just over a year and I love it just as much as my first Honda Civic, which I bought new in 1991. (My sister bought the old civic from me!)
When I bought my first Civic, after researching reliability, I test drove all sorts of cars - Mazda, Toyota and Nissan. I narrowed it down to the Honda Civic and the Toyota Corolla, but the Civic had much better driving visibility and had a more comfortable and spacious interior and won out easily.
Last year the experience was much the same - I did give token test drives to a Corolla, an Echo and a Nissan Sentra and none even came close to the comfort, quiet and driving experience as the Civic.
My first Civic was 100% reliable - it never broke down on me in the 12 years I had it and my daily commute to and from work is 60 km. I anticipate the same performance from my current Civic. You simply cant get a better, more reliable car for the money. Its great on gas (33 mpg) and will never let you down.
I will never buy any car but a Honda Civic!
