Recently purchased a used 2008 Honda Civic S-MT. Previous to this I was driving a Swift VDi. I always wanted to own the Civic because of the short stroke 1.8 engine and its features. The cabin space is outstanding & the instrumentation is beautiful.
Car I bought had done about 45k on the odo and runs like a new car. So far the car has pulled off a milage of 13-13.5 kmpl in the city( 40% freeway & 60% traffic) with AC on. I’ve become a little used to the peppy diesel engine on the swift so I do have some trouble with the pickup on the civic - yes the high torque on the swift is better. However Civic is smooth & a true pleasure to drive. Came feature packed.
Overall - excellent car as long as you avoid potholes:)
