I had bought this vehicle for my wife from M/S Dhruvadhesh Honda, B’lore . I had gone for this just because it is lighter than activa and I had trusted Honda. The vehicle was delivered on 23rd September 2006. M/s Dhruvadhesh honda had taken the order for accessories and when the vehicle was ordered accessories like saree guard, front box where not available in their stores. I had to take the vehicle again to the showroom on 30 th Sept 2006. Meanwhile my ride home on the first day (23rd Sept) was really horrible . When the vehicles picks up speed the right side rear view mirror was swinging in the wind. I stopped at apetrol bunk to fill petrol. The moment my pillion rider got down from the vehicle his leg hit the helmet lock fixed by Dhruvadhesh Honda and the lock was on the floor ( Imagine how it functions as a lock !!!).
On 30 th Sept I got the remaining accessories fixed, when I asked for a replacement for helmet lock the sales manager shouted at me and abused us as if we are some uncivilized people who had never used a vehicle before.
My experience with the vehicle was miserable even after that. The vehicle was wobbling heavily if we exceed 30 kmph and the selfstarter stopped working on 7 th October (14 days of Delivery ). I took the vehicle to service center the problems and gave me back. Every thing was fine for 2 weeks and the self starter again stopped working 25 th October. I used it with kick start till the first service on 4th Nov and got the problem solved. The self started worked well till 11th November (Just 7 days). This vehicle is keeping me busy on every saturday . I made a call to the service center of Dhruvadhesh Honda at Jayamahal on 14 th November . A nice gentleman had answered call. He was nice enough to admit this problem is there in new batches of Dio.
Dear friends I advice never to buy Honda dio and if you are in Bangalore never go to Dhruvadhesh Honda
