I wanted to to do a quick review on the all new Honda dio 2015. I am sure nobody needs introduction to honda which is great and reliable brand available in the market today . I got my hands on the Dio last week from kothari honda and wanted to share my first hand experience .
Dio is india’s first moto-scooter and has been in the market for quite some time now .It received a significant update back in 2013 and the exterior has been made more sporty sculpted and has those vibrant color combinations .
It has the activa’s 110cc engine which is good enough for an average user in city and outskirts with a decent average of 45kmpl and good enough power to carry 2 people comfortably anywhere .It is one of hottest looking scooter undoubtedly in the Indian market today.It also comes with a mobile charger for which not much thought has been given as to where it needs to be installed as it can immediately get stolen . Also the foot carpet rubber has no knobs to lock it which can lead to some extra useless expense .
The handling is great with the bike though the shock-ups seem to be a be a bit too hard even though we consider it to be a new bike.Another change in the new model which will cost the customer is the tailight assembly which is one huge unit so if that is broken i am sure it will cost a fortune . Dio old model has been the best know youth scooter and we need to wait and watch to see if the 2015 model does the same .Another major reason i choose honda dio over tvs and activa is it is the lightest of them all at 103kg
