New honda dio comes with Tubeless tyres and HET engine. The overall design is attractive. Tubeless tyres gives the scooter a better handling. Ride is comfortable. I do daily 40 kms (up and down) on it and has been happy. The seats are wide and comfortable. Headlight is just enough. Meter console is readable. Switches are of good quality. the foot well is wide enough. Under seat storage is also useful. Its easier to put in side stand. Body is fiber and needs attention while driving and parking. Paint quality is good. Ground clearance is good.
On the flip side, even side stand and number plate is an accessory. I dont know when Honda will say that tyres and engine will be an accessory. I also does not see a good feed back on honda After Sales Service online. I am waiting for the experience, myself. I will update the review once I give the scoot for service. The suspension setup is conventional. Telescopic front suspensions would have made a lot of difference.
Braking is average and need to be extremely careful at speeds. Combi breaks is a boon. Would have loved to have discs up front. Need to get used to the headlight being on body, but when used to it, this is a good feature. You will always have light against the direction the scooter is heading.
