Bike is a "REAL SUPERSTAR"

I was a proud owner of splendor from past 10 years, it served well and would have continued to serve since we will know that bike is a history maker in Indian market, but not to forget that splendor had a heart(Engine) made my HONDA, this is what made me move towards HONDA when it was time to buy the next bike.

My requirements were pretty simple, I needed an economical bike for city touring with good looks and handling & the superstar bike "HONDA DREAM NEO" had it all, though the looks of this bike is not that promising it somewhere resembles the splendor & passion from parent production company but still it can be marginally considered at a lower front, built quality & plastics used are good in 58 K price bracket Seat height is a little higher my father is 5.5" and he faces issues while riding in heavy traffic but its a matter of few months since the suspensions will loosen up a little and bikes height might come down by few mm’s.

The best feature of this superstar bike is its HET 110 cc engine, at a press of electric start button the engine starts with such a great soothing sound, it roars when you want it to roar else its very silent and quite, sounds like an airplane when you ride it(well said by one of the reviewer) for pick up, what I am experiencing is more than my expectation for 110 cc bike excellent power delivery with robust performance touring in city has become a little easier due to its body frame which helps balance the bike efficiently in lower speeds, its just been a week since I have bought this bike I believe I get an average of approx 50 kmpl, since I am an economical rider so am expecting it to increase relatively after its first service.

STAY TUNED FOR MORE.NEXT REVIEW AFTER 500 KM or 1st SERVICE(*whichever comes first)

Review after riding Dream Neo 1000Km+ In City like Mumbai, bike has to go through frequent braking and gear shifts, abnormal engine revs while overtaking is common in city biking experiences, in such conditions Dream Neo manages to run on~50Kmpl I am done with my bikes first service, it was done after clocking 800kms, nothing much has changed after that, however gear shifts and accelerations are smoother now, one of the flaws that I realized after purchasing this bike was that there is no lock for battery cum utility box(Carrying first aid kit as well), it is on screw which has to be opened with the help of screwdriver, so have two options now, one is to always carry a screwdriver and second is to carry bike papers in my wallet(Honda must do something about this, its a glitch), I will have to go for a substitute on this. Suspension is still hard and riding alone(without a pillion) will be a hard ride for roads with bad conditions, seats are also harder the quality of foam is little low on quality, there is a constant clinkering sound from speedometer when bike crosses 30kmph I am still not able to identify the cause for it.

Quick Summation:

Looks: Good

Mileage: Good(As per Mumbai City touring)

Ride Quality: OK(Suspensions & seat has to be taken care of)

Essentials: Utility Box(should have had a lock rather than having a screw)

Control on Highways: Good

Pickup: Good

You can still go for it since it comes under good price bracket, Yuga is secondary option-you can have it by just paying 3.5K extra and both share the same engine.

Will keep you’ll Updating.
