Hi all..
Basically, I am a Mechanical Engineer and working in Nissan. Honda has done a very good job in invention of new kind of engines, 109 cc air cooled single cylinder 4 stroke HET engine - sounds great. They are ahead of time which is visible from their environment friendly designs.
One of my friends is working at Honda, I met him recently. I came to know the 109 cc engines will set a benchmark like what Splendor did 15 years ago.
Actually, he mentioned Hero will be using the same old 97 cc engine in different bikes repeatedly and never advanced with new tech.
Coming to Hondas Dream series, I wanted a balance of style and performance, which is obviously Dream Neo which rules the commuter segment in small towns.
Till now, I had a Pulsar which engine gets into troubles and wanted to dump it. So Honda is going to be my next bike I assumed.
Then I drove the Dream Neo trial ride. Amazed how much simple it is to control, even smoother than Pulsar or CBZ. Now I own this simple legend, since 2 months.
So guys if you wanna engine reliability and resale value this bike is a nice option-- else u may go for age old engines like CD Delux etc etc though they are less stylish than Neo.
