I bought Yuga bike on Dec-2012, now third service was completed. Before bought this bike I was analyzed some experts test drive and reviews, then I decided to buy this bike. My bro took Test Drive his experience was good to ride with minimal sound and comfort like Honda Shine. Then I strongly decided to buy this bike. The main difference between Shine and Yuga is Mileage, refined engine.
Yuga bike look is good, very refined engine, butter smooth ride at 45 to 50kmph speed. I got good mileage of 66 kmpl average. I rode my bike 50km per day with city+highway. Initially it gave me mileage of 79kmpl, then it is settled at 65 to 66kmpl after second service. I have mileage chart from Dec-12 to till date,
Very disappointing thing is my bike have gear shift problem. very some time it stuck at 2nd gear during gear reduction. To release this, I need to increase gear then decrease gear. This is a big problem, I hope some review also saying that same problem. I think, the gear shifting pulse are not properly made by Honda or there may be some sample gear pulses are manufactured poorly.
Hmmm.....otherwise it’s very nice bike. But it is not popularized like Bajaj Discover, Hero Splendor. Honda only good and reliable in 150CC series bikes. They need to improve in 100CC segment.
Recently I got Battery problem in my bike, I got replaced it with no extra cost by claiming warranty. For getting this, I was suffered a lot by service person as usual.
