This is exactly about the Honda Showroom Staff’s behavior........
I happened to be at a Honda Showroom (Swaroop Honda, Preet Vihar, New Delhi) to purchase an ETERNO SCOOTER, which I purchased and am so far happy with the product. I went there to buy the scooter on a Full Cash Down Payment.
One thing that pinched me a lot was the careless attitude of the Showroom Staff. No sales person in the showroom was really looking concerned about getting a new customer or pitching a sale.
Also one of them even tried to answer my query just by using sign language that probably meant that he wanted me to talk to somebody else. He was the person on the counter that faced directly the main entrance. I could not understand that what prevented him from even answering the query verbally. I was in the showroom to purchase a product worth Rs.36, 000/- and I was being treated as if I had gone there to ask for a donation.
Even the genuine enquiries about the tool kit, tubes and tyres were not answered well. They all seemed to be quite untrained.
They had much interest in selling the accessories kit to me, that I did not buy because it was very much over priced. One person was just after me all the time trying to sell to me the kit for Rs.2600/-.
I tried to enquire about the manager, but he was absent. A peon later told me that these people would behave like that only because the product sells very well and they do not need to convince the customer. But does the company really doesn’t need customers?
Even I could not resist buying the scooter eventually because I liked the performance of the scooter. But what about the performance of the people who represent the company?
Will somebody from the company take a note and bring things to order.......??
