I currently own a Wagon R and for some reasons need to go for a 2nd car. And this time I wanted to have a premium segment hatchback which would basically have all the comfort and I need not pay anything more on it. Thus, when Jazz was introduced, I thought of taking a test drive and since the cost was almost 8, I assumed that this was the car I was looking for.
Look wise, this is an excellent car. The design is elegant and contemporary. Interiors are very chic. Spacious. Inside space intelligently utilized. Plastic quality is excellent. Steering Wheel Grip is good. buttons and Gears are ergonomically placed. Outside view is better than any other car. Seats are intelligently designed to give optimum space. Driving is also very nice and shock absorbers are excellent. In spite of all these I would not go for the car for the following reasons
1>I feel the rear seats could have been sent a little back to make some more leg room.
2>Even tough a bigger hatchback, it cannot seat 5 persons comfortably
3>However, what put me off the most, was the absence of Automatic Climate Control. This meant, I am going to switch on and off the AC the same way that I have been doing in my current car. This I felt was the worst thing.
I believe, and I had a talk with a lot of my friends on this, that the following changes would bring more customers for jazz
1>Automatic Climate Control
2>Rear AC Vents
3>Hand Support in the middle of the rear seats
4>A little more leg space for the rear passengers would be wonderful
