I purchased my Honda Jazz VX ivTec in Jan 2016. Its clocked 900kms so far. Its a very beautiful vehicle. Little pricey when compared to i20 and baleno.
Mileage:
Overall the car has got good mileage so far I have been getting 14.4 kmpl(city) yet to try the highway mileage. it recently dropped to 13.8kmpl.
Engine Performance:
Its dead silent, I keep looking at the RPM indicator to check if engine is running or not.(to avoid double cranking not good for engine)
Yeah the city drive is very very comfortable, highway performance is amazing. Only downside I felt was in the intial pick up, its little slow, unless you want to be a Schumacher in the City Traffic. which is obviously useless.
Interiors:
VX offer magic seats and Honda City like interiors. Plastic quality is very good and solid build nature. I think the hyundai and maruthi will have to learn that beauty is just skin deep.
Exteriors:
Excellent design, Hondas have been always authentic designers and rest start to copy them some way or the other. I feel after 5 years Jazz design will still hold relevance and stay attractive and age gracefully
Down sides:
Thin tyres, Acceleration and pick up is something u should learn to live with and get used to slowly. The real power kicks in only in the midrange above 2000 rpm
Up Sides:
Excellent i-vtec engine, mileage, ease of riding, superb handling and definitely attractive design language.
I have owned a hyundai verna petrol. Hyundai will give a great start but a short life for their vehicles problems start creeping post 40k kms. That is when Honda comes out to be a well oiled machine and cracks the whip
If you have petrol in your mind. Then Honda have always been the best combination of mileage, comfort and power.
