Honda Livo - Drum Brakes - 1700 km report card

Price: 66, 500/- on road for Drum Brakes. Includes price for number plate+seat cover+hand gripper+indicator beeper

Mileage: 58 km/liter in Bangalore city traffic until first service done at 675 km 53 km/liter in Bangalore city traffic after 1st service. Waiting for mileage tuning to be done during 2nd service. I hope to get at least 60 km/lt mileage after 2nd service.

People in smaller towns can expect another 5 km extra milage due to less traffic and braking.

Kilometers Ran: 1700 km

Summary: You can expect a typical 100 cc bike(less torque and you will notice lag in uphill roads or flyovers), decent mileage, most stylish bike with thin tyres(god knows why the have so thin tyres) and average suspension and decent brakes.

The bike offers a very comfortable ride till 60 km/hr speed. Good bike for driving inside cities. Pick Unicorn if you are using bike a lot in highways.

Pros:

  1. Stylish

  2. Value for money

  3. Drum brakes are good

  4. Seat height is good for tall people(6 feet people can easily sit, Short people < 5. 5 ft   please take a test ride before buying)

  5. Smooth Engine

  6. Climbing flyover you feel less power in bike.(I guess it is same with all 100 -110 cc bike category)

Cons:

  1. Lot of water splashes on shoes and pant in rainy season

  2. Very thin tyre

  3. Rear shocks are average

  4. Both mirrors do not show properly vehicles coming behind, when wearing jackets/windcheaters.
