Honda Livo,a grt looker bt nt woth for price u pay

Honda Livo, bought this bike about a month ago as soon it got released. I clock about 100-150 kms a day.

Cost me a fortune of about 70, 500 with accessories when bought. Even the mandatory accessories cost extra such as crash guard and license plates.

Clocked 3500+ kms to date with two services done.

Pros:

-Great looks, looks sporty and stylish.

-Mileage of about 55 in city, 60 combined and 65-70 in highway. Commuter friendly.

-Comfortable and wide seat.

-Nimble and agile in traffic. The bike is very light.

Now to the cons:

-Skinny tires, less control in wet weather and stability is horrible at speeds above 60km/h.

-Instrument cluster is minimal and looks outdated. Other vehicles in the price range offer semi digital console.

-Many bolts and parts starts to form rust even though I clean daily and polish my bike two week once.

-Braking is weak. Front disc needs more bite and rear does the job good for speeds up to 40km/hr.

-Gearbox gets clunky before service schedule.

-Harsh vibrations after 60 which is unbearable.

-Headlamp illumination is not powerful enough. Visibility is very poor in dark roads.

-Cost is the biggest con of the this bike. Elder sibling CB Shine costs just 2500 more than this. Charging extra for the mandatory accessories is a rip off.

-Honda spare parts are hard to get after a couple of years for the model.

My verdict and experience:

Honestly my personal opinion is that I made a mistake by buying it seeing the looks.

Look deeply into it and you will experience the vehicle. There are many bike at the same price with more features and are reliable. Going to use it till 25000 kms and changing it surely.

In the end your personal taste comes into consideration.
