I bought this Honda Shine in the last Jan 2007. I have been using my Shine for my long distance riding and daily commutation to office in Bangalore.
Now I have crossed 13876kms, completed all free services. Really it shines on Highway too.
*I would like to say that Shine’s Engine has got very good pulling power than other bikes in its segment.
I never felt discomfort when I ride on my shine..all the pillion’s so far whoever traveled with me said..Wow!! it’s a wonderful bike..
I traveled to Pondy, Chennai and Thiruvannamalai in my Hond Shine..It’s really sizzling on the Highway and cliffs. It never felt difficult to pull the two people with average weight of 180kg. (Put together)
Its headlamp is very powerful. Needless to say smooth shift of gears..not like Bajaj and HH bikes which has ruff and tuff shift...
Year after year Honda Shine becoming smooth..Quick pickup is another advantage of Honda..Easily you can overtake the vehicles like Alto and Maruti 800.
Honda should increase the strength of the Foot rests..Should give 300x18 tyre in back.
The MRF tyre is not good when you are riding on highways..I have changed to Ceat which has got very good Road grip than MRF.
