I bought Honda Shine(disk, self, grey, 125 cc) in Jan, 2007 but started driving effectively only from April, 07.
The most I like about his bike is the noice level and comfort in handling. I have filled the tank only once so far and in my calculation it gives about 44 km/L, in city traffic. I think the mileage will improve after my sencond service. I drive about 22-25 kms / day on an average.
I also like the grey colour and the graphics(stickers) on it.
I had TVS Victor GLX prior to this and relatively, Shine is lighter than Victor GLX and easy to handle, though GLX’s sound feels good.
Concern / doubt: I think, the engine is getting too hot even for a 15 km drive. Anyone who has some idea can tell me what is happening.
-ve aspect: the drive in the 4th gear could be better or at least they should have proivded 5th gear.
Overall: It is very good bike for city traffic and local commute.
