Decent bike for city driving

Hi,

I have been riding this bike for about a month now(750 kms). Thought abt penning my experience for prospective buyers.

I dont want to go into the technical stuff already available in this site and the hmsi site. But I want to mention that the self start version is currently available. Even then there is not much increase in the price. For my self start version with disc brake on-road price was abt 50k. Also I bought accessories for 1k. Unfortunately, the extended service option is unavailable.

From my experience, the ride has been smooth on this bike. It gives you enuf power, pick up and mileage in city. There is enuf power to move past the slow moving autos, cars and buses. The pik up is good enuf to move ahead from signals. Moreover the self start and primary start allows u to start the bike again easily if it stops in slow traffic. I am getting mileage of 50+.

Another fine feature is the good low end torque. It allows me to stay in top gear even when the speed is as low as 20kph and in the 3rd gear for 10kph. Also, the headlight beam is good.

Honda is claiming tht the seating design avoids any back pains. Seems true from mine and my pillion’s experiences.

On the flip side, I have had gear shifting problems sometimes. Occassionally, the gear wont fall properly from 3 to 2 and 2 to 1. And sometimes when you have free road in front u miss a fifth gear. These are the only drawbacks I have observed till now.

All in all, a fine bike from honda. I recommend this bike for whoever is planning to buy one in <150cc category. Go ahead and be a wing rider.
