Well I purchased honda CB shine drum alloy on 5th oct 2011, n within a span of one month I rode 1050kms with a speed of not more than 50km/h and u will be surprised to hear that it is giving an avg of 76km/litre, on the contrary I was expecting 65. I normally ride it on highways but 76 is something I never expected. till so far I have not faced any prob.
An imp feature of this bike is its smoothness, when u ride this bike below 60, u feel as if u r riding a four wheeler. its engine works so smooth that at times people passing near the bike failed to recognize its presence. After the first servicing there is a gradual decrease in engines sound. the only problem I faced abt this bike in the initial days of its purchase is, because of its fiber work the red light behind makes a noise but that it is OK now after its first servicing. so anybody planning to purchase a bike withi th range of 60k, then its an unique in its segment, so go for it n experience silky ride, provided if u r not crazy abt speed.
