Second Review:
Last week I went to Chennai by my Honda Shine. I rided day-night climate -round trip. Really it was very good trip. I enjoyed my ride. Bike pretty good in ASCENT roads. Very good pickup and **I got around 59 to 63km/plitre.(mostly at top gear and beyond 69kmph speed).
I continuously rided by HONDA SHINE for more than 2hrs. I didnt get that much tired or back pain.(changed the engine oil b4 leaving from Bangalore). Always kept the air pressure as 30 and 40-front and back respectively. If HONDA increase the weight of SHINE by 12kg.UNICORNs market share and HeroHOndas Passion Plus market share will go down.I took only 6.54hrs to reach Chennai from Whitefield via hosur, Vellore and Kanchipuram.
*Head light pretty good.Suspension at both front and back are very good.
Enhancement Needed: Front Tyre breadth.Turning Indicator Swtich should be soft. Small fog light is needed.

My first review:
I purchased Honda Shine in Feb 2007 first week. In one month I droved for 1129Kms. I have not faced any problem. Very good pick up and smooth. Silent engine and smooth transmission. PassionPlus does not have this smooth and silent engine.
Mileage is not bad. Minimum 59kml is guarantee. Depend upon how you ride the bike it may go upto 62km. I rided on this bike to Thiruvannamalai via Hosur and Krishnagiri, it was silent, smooth and very good pickup. Safety at 80km/ph ride on this bike. Because beyond that, you need bike weight more than 125.
Improvement required is weight. Some more weight is required since this is 125cc; Wide tyres. Strong Foot rest and steel mudgaurds.
Honda has come out with very good design; May be outlook is bad but seating comfort is very good for both who ride and sit at back.
For 125cc and 10.3bhp minimum weight should be atleast 125kg. But Honda shine is only 119Kg.
Steel mudguards, Strong foot rest at gear and brake can increase the weight. Minimal plastic components are always good. More the weight more safety you will get when you apply a sudden brake even at 80km/ph. And wobbling can be avoided when you over take the big truck or they over take you on Highways. Honda should address these factors.
Thanks Honda.
