The new Honda CB Shine SP derives its power from the same 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with HET(Honda ECo Technology) that does duty on the regular CB Shine. This power mill is capable to generate a maximum power output of 10.57bhp at 7, 500rpm and 10.3Nm of peak torque at 5, 500rpm. Coupled to a 5-speed gearbox, the commuter returns a fuel efficiency of 65kmpl.
The bike looks quite sporty with features like all-new headlight cowl and visor, black grab-rail, side panels with silver finish, new tail-lamp, full chain cover, new seats and clear-lense indicators. What add more to its appeal are the Livo-inspired exhaust muffler with chrome garnish, rear suspension springs in red colour and slightly modified exhaust. This 125cc commuter is assembled with the new 10-spoke, 18-inch alloy wheels that are fitted with 80/100-18 tubeless tyres.
