My biking exp: I had a WIND 125 earlier :-) and I have written a review on it.
Color: Grey ..Kick starter.
Duration: 4 months approx...2 services done.
Km Done: 2500+
Mileage: With 1st litre, I got 40..after that it was always 53+...i have tried speed, power and xtra premium. It remains between 53-56 for all three. I think speed and xtra premium r slightly better than power in mileage and engine performance. Btw I usually ride in a relaxed away maintaining speed limits.
Highest speed : 90 with pillion and 80 alone :-).....i felt no vibration ..bike was stable....
Delivery time and Showroom exp.:
I was told 2 months but I got in 25 days :-). My exp. has been nice with City
Honda, blr and their service station.
Bike features:
About mono suspension: What I have observed is that if the road is rough and has potholes, the ride is a bit bouncy for a single rider. But it offers great cornering and stability...esp. it performs really gud with 2 riders....having 2 riders is the time when mono-shock performs better than dual shocks..i guess so.
Engine:..enough praise has been written about its superb engine, its smoothness and silent behaviour and overall performance...
Gear shifting: Well its really smooth and precise but yes sometimes its annoying to find neutral. I push 2nd gear down , and it goes to 1st instead of neutral....even though this 1-down, 4-up approach I had in WIND..With WIND I had this problem only in initial few days, but with Unicorn, i still hv about 70% success rate.
Looks, build quality: Well most ppl say its not as gud looking as pulsar..but looks can depend on personal taste at times....so I think Unicorn is very gud looking..and its my choice over pulsar...some say its front fairing looks very much like WIND..i like it ....and also it has plastic covers like WIND. And as I hv read in magazines, its build quality and paint job is amazing..and is done at a level above others.
Instrument console: Have u guys noticed the reflection of ur face in its three pod meters... it looks really nice.
Braking: I always apply both brakes...and I have not experienced any problem so far with its disc brake...its gud ..its does not give u jerks and is progressive.
Ride quality, comfort: simply great :-)...seating also feels gud. The tank shape is really nice..very well shaped to put ur knees comfortably.
After sales: I have no bad experiences with Honda Citys service. I give my bike in morning and get back in evening.
Problems faced:
1) Starting problem in morning ..it happens some days..now I use choke every morning.
2) initially there was gear down shifting problem but was sorted out after 1?st service.
3) ..yes tail lamp, fuel meter problems my unicorn also has.
Cons/Wishlist:
1) No tripmeter.
2) No Side stand indicator.
3) Rear grab rail too wide ...cannot fit helmet...hard to get a gud grab which
is a must for many females..our moms will certainly vouch for it :-)...for gfs
they can hold us ;-)..
4) No handle side bars like pulsar.
5) Its fuel cap is bad....the aircraft type cap in pulsar and WIND is much better.
6) U need to buy number plate and leg guard as accessories..they r not standard fitment...
7) how can I fit a side bag or something to keep some stuff?

What Auto Magazines say:
Overdrive: They gave shoot out between Unicorn and Pulsar. Final verdict was both bikes are equally gud...u wont go wrong on any of them. If u r collegian, want a sportier looking bike to rev. and ride hard, go for Pulsar. If relaxed , smooth ride is wat u want, go for Unicorn...it all depends on ur taste and wat u want in a bike.

BSM motoring: They praised both bikes a lot but as per their tradition there had to be a winner so they declared Pulsar winner by tiniest of margin on account of better looks and value for money.
I hv few ques if anyone can plz answer:
1) Can self-started can be put in earlier unicorn.
2) what fuel is better- speed 93, speed 91, power, Xtra premium or plain unleaded one for mileage and engine performance..
3)has anyone tried changing monoshock setting--how does it work?
4) how much cost for a pair of alloy wheels?
5) which polish/shampoo is gud for bike washing?
....and obviously Pulsar is a gr8 package..gr8 value for money...and excellent bike.
And a small praise for WIND 125...well if I will put any other bike close to Unicorn in ride quality and comfort, its WIND....but may b I m being ignorant or partial as I have not driven Pulsar dtsi ( I have only once) and many other new bikes....this is wat I hv experienced after riding old fiero, splendor, passion, victor, old pulsar.
So I have become WING RIDER from WIND RIDER :-)....
