If any of you honda nuts can gimme any news whatsoever about the so called Uni upgrade then I shall be really indebted to you.My first question
1) How on earth did Honda become the worlds leading IC engine Manufacturer?
I dunno how things are in other parts of the country but in Bangalore it plain sucks.I went to two Honda dealers(Haiku and Silicon).In Haiku they gave me a test bike which looked like toilet paper used by King Kong.The brakes were nonexistent and the rear wheel kept sliding out.But for such a crappy bike the Engine and Gearbox were still as good as gold.Man what a smooth ride.And at Silicon I had to discuss the salient features of MultiMapping technology with a guy who had the Technical expertise of a caveman.
OK I’M probably bitchin too much.BUT THE THING THAT HAS GOT ME REAL FRUSTRATED IS THE NEWS OF THE UNI UPGRADE.Two days before buyin my uni I heard that a new model is gonna be launched.But the release dates range from Somewhere in feb TO early April.Damn thats so buggging coz I dunno when the bikes gonna come out an I dont have a bike now.
2)How come a world class company like honda have such a crappy markrting department?
Have you ever seen a Unicorn add.I vagely remember seeing somecrap about "real men ride a unicorn".HOW boring.I know HONDA BELIEVES IN LETTING THE Product speak for itself but come on guys this is india.We Indians will fall for a well marketed product no matter how crap it is(Thats probably the reason why we still watch cricket).People dont look too deep about the technology an stuff like that.Half of them still buy bikes coz of vague references to their Manhood an stuff like that(Think you know what i’m sayin:-)).Anyway HMSI marketing is so crap that they couldnt even sell their products for free if they wanted too.
ANYWAY I HOPE YOU GUYS FORGIVE IF MY REVIEW WASNT TECHNICAL.I SHALL WRITE A PROPER TECH SPEC THE MOMENT I GET THE UNICORN SPORTS.PROVIDED IT REALLY EXISTS AND IS NOT A RUMOUR:-)
