This is the first time im writing a review on a vehicle be it a two wheeler or a four wheeler.so to start off with I will be reviewing one of the serious contender to become the king of the 150cc segmentITS THE HONDA UNICORNAfter india’s first 150cc bike the cbz was dethroned by the pulsar its been tough to beat thismean machine.The past few years have seen lot of bikes releasedin this segment which have failed to make an impression. So ti was not too long before the japanese giant decided to spoil their party.
THEY RELEASED THE UNICORNthe name unicorn was coined because of the monosuspension (the first bike in india)so first thing firstwhats so special about this bikeit is the state of the art monosuspension which we would have noticed only on a superbikewhile the suspension raises the ride and handling characteristics way above the rest its the heart of the bike(engine) that makes the bike a treat to ridebelieve me guys dont be fooled by the so called dull looks of the bike , it can take the pulsar dtsi head on when it comes to speed and pickup.it can do a 0-60 in 5 secs which is absolutely amazing.
The only bike in this segment that can match this stats in this segment is the cbz xtremeAND all those pulsar and apache enthusiasts who beleive that the looks of the unicorn did not match up to the standards set by them then check out the new 2007 edition .its got black alloysblack engine and an air craft type fuel lid .this bike now is not only a treat to ride but also a treat to watch(especially the one with the black base paint) so finally there is a bike that can give the bajaj pulsar a run for its money.GO AHEAD all you die hard unicorn fans .
