I was in a huge dilemma before buying a bike. I just wasnt able to decide between a Unicorn and a Pulsar 150. But now I know Ive made the right decision. The bike has gone beyond my expectations. It is a really smooth ride on a Unicorn. Quite often I get into a race with Pulsar and I have managed to stay ahead more often than not, inspite of the 14bhp engine of the Pulsar. Till date I have touched 120kmph on my Unicorn. Believe me even at such a speed it was smooth and there was no vibration in the bike. Im sure it is capable of more coz I have touched upto 95kmph in the 3rd gear alone, the bike having 5 gears. All this with no modifications made to the bike. The balance is wonderful. Inspite of the pathetic condition of roads in Bangalore, I manage to take the bike through treachorous stretches with relative ease.
The one thing I couldve preferred a Pulsar over Unicorn is the alloy wheels. To make matters worse, the bike now comes with some sad stickering. Im sure introduction of alloy wheels will increase the sales of the bike. Go be a Wing rider.
