Dear friends my name is Vinod John. I am from Kerala. Recently I have bought cb unicorn red on 29 of march’13.This is my first review.till now I have done first service.Before taking decision of buying this byke I had gone through a lot of reviews on Mouthshut. Let me come to the story.
Till now my byke have covered 1300 km.The things I like unicorn is its handling and its super milage.it gives me superb control in curves as well as road.in the case of milage I felt that if I ride the byke with in the limit of 40-55 range I m getting 60kmpl or above.this is true and my real experience.
The important thing is mileage is totally depends upon riding conditions of the driver.its true that initial pulling was not fine as compared to pulsar etc...I am satisfied 100% with my unicorn because of control, mileage, comfort.
pros:
1.It had a super mileage
2.Handling was good
3.Quality of byke was also good
4.Seating posture was very comfortable
Cons
1.Cold starting problem....for starting in morning we should use choke at least for 30 sec.and the engine must be idle in 2 minutes. Otherwise u will felt missing
2.Drive chain was slipping from sprokete frequently.there is a voice is coming from chain cover. That’s y I think chain is slipping. Told to mechanic while servicing...they are not even bother about it
3.Service was not good
4.I had vibration on 60 kmph. But above 60kmph the volume of vibration is very less This is I had experienced from last 20 days with my cb unicorn. I am expecting your valuable comments and feedback.
