HELLO friends, this is my first review.i have written it to my best of my abilities, if found any lacking pls forgive me.
when I decide to buy 150cc bike, my choice goes to choice were pulsar, fz, cbz-extreme, after reading loads of review .i decided to buy honda unicorn 150 is highly trusted brand.
I have owned a red beauty for 5 months now and have done close too 3500km and I have absoutly loved it to this point.lets gets stright to the facts now.
1.The honda unicorn comes under 150cc engine and single cylinder engine category.The total rpm of the bike is 10000rpm.the top speed of the bike is 101kmpl
2.The engine produce 13.14bhp and 12.84Nm of torque may not possess the outright grunt like that of the rivals like the pulsar, but it makes up for it wuth its refinement and flexibilit.
- Bike gives you more comfort because the clutch is light and quality of the gearshift from the five speed unit amazed me.the one down four up gearshift pattern works efficiently without any false neutrals .honda has tuned the gear box well for city use and gear shift actions are smooth
4.on our fuel efficiency run the bike returned a fuel economy of 45-50 in city and 50-57 in highways.which is a very decent figure for a bike weighing 145kg
5.The motorcycle’s front isn’t as light then it gives a nice and planted feel even during a quick manoeuvre.the mrf nylogrip zappers(2.75 up front and 100\90-80 at the rear) provides sufficient grip and are tubeless tyres reduce hassle punctures.the unicorn’s telescopic front and monoshock rear suspension are tuned comfort rather than handling and gives the perfect road grip
6.I agree that the spare parts are slightly costiler than other but its they of a better quality.there are a better quality.there are lot of service center in india and spare parts also easily avaliable.
