This is my first review on mouthshut. I recently purchased a new Unicorn ’Grand Prix addition" day before yesterday. It is my dream bike after much of consideration, search on websites, and reviews. Off course mouthshut made a big impact on my decision making.
First of all it is really a sexy bike and an ’Eye candy’. The new ’Grand Prix addition’ (All black colour) is a real gem of a bike. You will fall in love with it on first meet and I can challenge ’YOU WILL NOT COSIDER ABOUT ANY OTHER BIKE’ after meeting this beauty. Of course performance wise it is really good. Before meeting my first love I gave a thought to many other competitors eg. Hunk, Pulsar 180, Apache RTR and even Bullet Electra 5s as I’m 6’3” tall and 90 kg, but as I said you will fall in love after seeing the new All Black Unicorn ’Grand Prix Addition’.
This is all about the looks. As far as performance and service is concern I will write in detail later but what little I have experience is its comfort and smooth engine. Yes, what ever negative review about its comfort level and engine is rubbish. It is a real good bike with good acceleration and smooth gear shift. Sitting position for both rider and pillion is very comfortable compared to other bike and sitting position is more upright. I felt more control because of its steady acceleration and mono suspension.
One more thing Mono suspension as a myth is not a weak suspension compared to double suspension. In fact it adds to bike stability in high speed because it centralize the gravity force and weight in the middle of the bike and I must say it is a very vital factor in high speed biking.
I will write back more as I will experience the bike with time but right now my baby is new and I’m really enjoying the pleasure of ’True Biking’. Hats off to Honda!!
